Maqetin nudges a trial that has not reached its key step.

For a trial that has not done the one thing you want first. The email shows that step and links to it. A journey sends it after three days.

The email.

A sample to adapt: change the names, the product and the button to yours.

Hi Sarah,

Pick a customer, add two items and press Send. Your first invoice shows you how Shelfwise works.

How it is sent.

The journey starts when your app sends trial.started. It waits 3 days, then checks whether invoice.created arrived since the person entered. If it did, they leave and no email goes. If not, the email goes.

Events to send.

Your app sends two events for the same person.

trial.started
Starts the journey. Send it when the trial begins.
invoice.created
Ends the journey early. Replace it with the key step of your own app.

Check before you send.

  • Pick your key step. Change the check to the event that matters in your app, and write the email about it.
  • Reach the person who pays. Save the payer's user id as a trait of the person on the trial. The payer needs a profile with an email address. Set the email step to send to that trait.
