Maqetin emails learners from enrolment to the first lesson.
A learner enrols in a course and never opens a lesson. Maqetin reads both in your app’s events, waits, and emails the learners who have not started.
Sample scene: a language-learning app in London.
The journey starts when your app sends course.enrolled. It waits 3 days, then checks whether lesson.started arrived since the person entered. If it did, they leave and no email goes. If not, the email goes.
Write to the learner, and stop when they start.
It names the course and says how long lesson one takes. The journey of this email is the first-lesson nudge template.
- Name the lesson. Send the course name and the lesson length with course.enrolled, and the email can print them.
- Stop at the first lesson. The journey looks for lesson.started since the person entered, so a learner who has begun gets no email.
- Keep progress on the profile. Set a number such as lessons_left as a trait with identify(), and a saved segment on it can decide who enters a journey.
Hi Jane,
You enrolled in Spanish for Travel on Monday. Lesson one takes 12 minutes and ends with your first full conversation.
Start lesson oneEvents to send.
Your app sends each one with track() when it happens. The journey above uses the first two.
- course.enrolled
- A learner joins a course.
- lesson.started
- A learner opens a lesson.
- lesson.completed
- A learner finishes a lesson.
- course.completed
- A learner finishes the whole course.
The edtech template.
Start with the learners who enrolled and never began.
