Maqetin emails sellers whose listings have not sold.
A seller lists an item and a week passes with no sale. Maqetin reads the listing and the sale in your app’s events, and emails the sellers whose listing has not sold.
Sample scene: a resale marketplace in Austin.
The journey starts when your app sends listing.created. It waits 7 days, then checks whether listing.sold arrived since the person entered. If it did, they leave and no email goes. If not, the email goes.
Two sides, one record each.
It names the listing and gives two changes to try. The journey of this email is the seller tips template.
- Send the seller’s id. An event that carries the buyer’s id does not end the journey for the seller.
- Split the sides with a trait. Set a trait such as role with identify(), and a saved segment on it lets a journey enter only the side it is for.
- Email the other side. A Send step can name a trait that holds another contact’s user id, so an email about an offer can go to the seller.
